NOTE: THIS TRAINING IS FOR STUDENTS WHO ARE NOT PRESENTLY PEAK CERTIFIED.
Translating theory to practice using RFT and ACT to develop revolutionary language interventions for individuals diagnosed with autism within the framework of PEAK and AIM. The PEAK/AIM summit is a minimum of three live multi-day trainings at key geographic areas designed to build knowledge and competency in RFT, ACT, PEAK and AIM. Bundled in this live event is a full day of understanding the concepts of Relational Frame Theory and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. The event allows for interested individuals to complete a competency-based training on the PEAK Comprehensive Assessment and designing / completing PEAK programming across all four PEAK modules. This extremely interactive training ensures that the knowledge gained transfers to demonstrated skills. Finally, for those attendees who didn’t learn this content in graduate school – you have a full day intensive course that brings you up to speed on the history, research and application. The final day of this live workshop experience is an entire experiential and role-playing AIM training. Learn how to refine your ACT delivery skills and maximize impact for your clients. See how the AIM program works, customize it to your specific clinical environment and discuss with others how they are doing the same.
Course Length and BACB Continuing Education
The PEAK/AIM Summit contains 18 hours of content and 21 Type II BACB CEs
Level 1 Certification – Provided to individuals who are completing the PEAK/AIM Summit Peak as their 1st PEAK Course
Level 2 Certification – Provided to individuals who have already completed the Foundational PEAK Course (previously PEAK Level 1)
